Faeger Signs MOU with SATAKE ASIA CO., LTD. to Promote Sustainable Agriculture through Environmental Value Creation in Southeast Asia
Faeger Co. Ltd. has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SATAKE ASIA CO., LTD., an overseas group company of Satake Corporation, to promote the development of agriculture-based carbon credits in Southeast Asia.
This collaboration aims to expand credit-based income opportunities for local producers and rice milling businesses through the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural activities, while enhancing the long-term sustainability of farming practices. By leveraging locally available resources—such as the utilization of rice husk biochar—the partners will work to establish mechanisms that return environmental value directly to agricultural communities.
Faeger is committed to building models that link environmental value creation with improved farmer income and soil enhancement, enabling climate action to go hand in hand with the future of agriculture.
