Faeger Participates in the World Food Forum 2025 at FAO Headquarters in Rome
Faeger participated in the World Food Forum 2025 (WFF), held from October 10 to 17, 2025, at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome, Italy.
Commemorating FAO’s 80th anniversary, the forum was organized under the theme “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future.” Bringing together governments, research institutions, private companies, and youth organizations from around the world, participants engaged in dialogue and collaboration toward sustainable and resilient food systems. The event was guided by FAO’s four “Better” objectives: better production, better nutrition, better environment, and better life.
During the forum, Faeger advanced discussions with FAO Headquarters on collaboration in agricultural climate change mitigation and adaptation, and preparations are underway to initiate joint projects in multiple countries. Both parties share a common goal of strengthening food security through field-based, practical initiatives that promote the sustainable development of agriculture.
Faeger and FAO are now taking concrete steps to launch on-the-ground cooperation, aiming to establish a new model for partnership between United Nations agencies and private sector actors, leveraging their respective strengths.
Faeger remains committed to working hand in hand with international organizations and diverse partners to build a sustainable future for agriculture and pass it on to the next generation.

Comment from Takahiro Ishizaki, CEO, Faeger Co. Ltd.
“Our collaboration with FAO has been expanding across different regions, but this visit to Rome—our first in a year—offered an invaluable opportunity to meet with DDG Beth and many others to explore broader, more integrated areas of cooperation.
In the session we joined, we also forged new connections with startups from around the world, reaffirming a shared passion for transforming agriculture together.
I am deeply proud of our teams across various countries, whose achievements have made it possible for Faeger to discuss sustainable agriculture at a global level alongside the United Nations and its partners.”
