Faeger Speaks at Financial Inclusion Week 2025
Faeger participated in “Financial Inclusion Week (FIW) 2025,” one of the world’s largest forums on financial inclusion.
FIW is organized by the Center for Financial Inclusion (CFI) in Washington, D.C. Since its launch in 2015, the forum has developed into a global platform where researchers, practitioners, and policymakers share insights from the frontlines of financial inclusion.
This year’s theme was:
“How can we foster resilience and well-being in an age of uncertainty?”
The sessions explored the multifaceted role of finance in addressing increasingly complex challenges, including economic shocks, climate change, geopolitical risks, and digital fraud.
In the on-demand session “Driving Climate-Smart Farming and Financial Inclusion: Insights from Faeger,” CEO Takahiro Ishizaki and Deputy-chief of the Philippines Business Akiko Namiki spoke on behalf of Faeger.
They highlighted the challenges faced by smallholder farmers who are especially vulnerable to climate change, and introduced Faeger’s resource-circulating approach utilizing agriculture-based carbon credits, while exploring its intersections with financial inclusion.

In addition to Faeger’s presentation, FIW features numerous sessions led by the World Bank, CGAP, UNDP, central banks from various countries, microfinance institutions, foundations, and venture capital firms.
