Faeger Participates in the “Philippines–Japan Space Economy Co-Creation & Networking Symposium” in Manila
On Monday, 17 November 2025, the “Philippines–Japan Space Economy Co-Creation & Networking Symposium” was held in Manila, Philippines, hosted by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA), and PASCO Corporation.
Faeger joined the symposium together with Yanmar Philippines Corporation, the local entity of our partner Yanmar Group. During the event, the two companies introduced their joint initiative:
the JCM (Joint Crediting Mechanism) project on methane reduction and decarbonization in rice cultivation through AWD (Alternate Wetting and Drying).
By combining Yanmar Group’s agricultural machinery and solutions with Faeger’s expertise in rice cultivation and track record in generating and aggregating agriculture-derived carbon credits in Japan, the partners aim to contribute to addressing the Philippines’ challenges in climate change mitigation and food security through the adoption of AWD.
