Participation in a Forum on Promoting Business Engagement in the JCM in Thailand
On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, Faeger participated in the “Forum on Advancing Article 6 Implementation through Business Engagement and JCM Project Matchmaking in Thailand,” held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Mr. Daiki Tajima, Project Coordinator for Faeger’s Southeast Asia business, participated in the business pitch session and delivered a presentation on Faeger’s Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) projects in Japan and the Philippines, its comprehensive farmer support model, digital MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification) enabled through a mobile application, as well as its collaboration with the public sector, including speaking engagements at FAO events and selection under the JICA Biz program.

The forum was co-hosted by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment and the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), with the aim of advancing the implementation of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement through enhanced business engagement and JCM-based project matchmaking.
The forum focused on deepening participants’ understanding of Article 6 implementation and accelerating the development of JCM projects in Thailand. It featured presentations on the latest updates of the JCM, including its bilateral framework, project cycle, credit issuance procedures, and methodologies.
In addition, active discussions were held with Thai government agencies and private-sector companies regarding potential collaboration and partnership opportunities.
In Thailand, the first issuance of internationally transferred mitigation outcomes (ITMOs) under the JCM was successfully achieved in November 2025.
This milestone generated strong interest and high expectations among forum participants for further engagement in the JCM.
Faeger will continue to explore collaboration opportunities with Thai government bodies, research institutions, and private-sector partners, while promoting sustainable agricultural practices that enhance agricultural productivity and food security in the region.
