Thanh Phat and Faeger Sign MOU to Promote Decarbonized Agriculture in Vietnam

Faeger Co. Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takahiro Ishizaki) and Thanh Phat Construction Company Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote decarbonized agriculture through carbon credits in Vietnam in January 2024. Faeger will collaborate to support the project by advising and implementing technologies in the agriculture and forestry sectors to reduce Vietnam's greenhouse gas emissions and accelerate the green transformation.

This project aims to accelerate the application of technologies in the agro-forestry sector to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Vietnam. At the same time, the project will increase the efficiency of Japanese investment capital utilization in green transformation projects to ensure the sustainability of the agriculture and forestry sector.

At the same time, Faeger has also started a demonstration experiment in Vietnam, where we are implementing and monitoring AWD (Alternative Wetting and Drying) in two regions, Long An and Nghe An, where paddy rice is widely cultivated, to promote optimal decarbonized agriculture in the region.
